Transnational Law Clinic Research Guide: Home

A guide for students completing projects for the Transnational Law Clinic, including guidance on immigration and human rights research.

Transnational Law Clinic Research

Research in immigration and human rights can be confusing at times! It's useful to start by mapping out what information you need to answer your research question, and where and how you might be able to find that information, so you can avoid wasting time and feeling lost.

If you're new to this type of research, you should begin with some guidance on the research process. If you're new to immigration law and human rights, begin with an introduction, treatise, or other secondary source to get an understanding before you dive into looking for the law.

The resources listed in this guide are good starting points for your research. If you can't find what you need, or would like additional guidance on the research process, feel free to email Susan Gualtier, Biddle's Foreign, Comparative, and International Law Librarian, at any point in your research.
