FCIL Research Tips for Biddle Librarians

... or What to Do When Gabriela Is Not Around

Introduction to this Guide

So you're on the reference desk or on chat and a question comes in about international or foreign law. As much as I want to be there for every patron with an interest in FCIL, I'm inconveniently away from the office at the moment.  What do you do?

First of all...

Next, consult the relevant pages on this guide to walk you through some of the most commonly asked FCIL questions.  If these tips and tools don't answer the patron's question, just collect as much information as they have and email it to me, letting the patron know I'll get back to them as soon as I'm in the office again.

Good luck, and if you have suggestions for additional content for this guide or how to make it more useful, please send them to me!
