Journal Editor Resources: Cite-Checking

This guide is intended to capture essential information for journal cite-checkers and incorporate library policies started in 2021.

Introduction

Welcome Penn Law Cite Checkers and Source Hunters!

This guide is intended to serve as a resource for students working on citation checking and source hunting for the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School journals. Most of the guide is devoted to finding authenticated pdfs of primary law and scholarly journal sources using electronic databases, but it also covers use of our library catalogs to find books in print, determining when to request an interlibrary loan (ILL), and creating permalinks with Perma.CC.

If you are looking for information about researching your note or comment for journal, please check out our Journal Editor Resources: Researching Your Comment Guide.
