This research guide provides an overview of bankruptcy law and should serve as a starting point for your research.  The guide contains primary and secondary material available in both print and electronic formats.  Since bankruptcy law in the U.S. is a responsibility of the Congress and the federal government, the material in this guide primarily addresses U.S. bankruptcy law.  However, resources specific to Pennsylvania bankruptcy law have also been included.
