Law Reviews and Journals

Westlaw and LexisNexis are often the first place we turn to in order to locate legal literature, but both databases are not comprehensive and can be difficult to search effectively. For an effective and comprehensive search of legal scholarship, consider searching a legal periodical index to locate articles on patent law.

The Index to Legal Periodicals and Index to Legal Peridocials Retrospective, both now available through EBSCO, fully indexes legal journals from 1908 to the present. You can search by subjects such as "intellectual property" or "patents." Other indexes available for Penn Law students to search include the Legal Periodical Index on Lexis and the  Legal Resource Index in Westlaw.
